5 Steps to Work Through Your Handstand Phobia
I am still not the most eager in jumping right into handstanding. I can handstand walk at least, but still cannot stand still. Anyway, here are some steps below to ease into handstanding:
1. Acknowledge your fear (whether it’s being upside down or falling over)
2. Practice arm balances like the frogstand
3. Elevate your feet (using the downward dog yoga pose)
4. Loosen up and kick up
5. Take care of your shoulders (they’ll get tight as you train more)
